Art Use

What does this apply to?

This applies to any art I create and post that isn't for a client. So, art of my own original characters or fanart falls under this. Commissions, YCHs, and gift art do not. If you want to repost, edit, or make things based on those things, ask the person who bought them/the person whose characters are featured.

What about bases and art labeled free to use?

Do whatever you want with those! They were made to be used by others freely. Color a base to turn it into an adopt, use a set of character components for a game, etc—as long as you aren't just reselling the unmodified assets by themselves, I don't mind if money is involved. Just remember to give me credit!

What can be done with your art?

You can repost it, modify it, write stuff based on/about it, and basically anything that's not covered in the next question. Just make sure to give me credit!

What can't be done with your art?

Don't use it in AI training datasets or sell it. This includes sticking it on t-shirts, NFTs, or exchanging it for video game currencies.

Another important thing to know is that most of my PMVs involve music that I didn't create. It's fine to reuse the visuals for edits, inspiration, or reposts, but please don't use the audio unless it was also made by me. If you want to use the audio, you'll need to ask the creator for permission.

I really like your design for [fandom character]! Can I use it in fanart/a project/etc?

As long as they are a canon character, there's no need to ask! Go ahead. Like with a lot for the other things in here, though, I'd like credit for the design. I understand my designs are very simple, so I won't go after anyone with a similar one, but it's appreciated when conscious inspiration is taken.

What do you mean by giving credit?

Mention me—by username—in your final product! I'd prefer being tagged if you're posting it somewhere that I have an account on. If not, just a link to my page or the specific page you got the assets from would be nice, but the bare minimum is just a mention by name.
